All application materials must have been received and processed by the Board office in order to register for a exam.
The Board has a (v.4.0) study guide available for the locksmith licensure examination. The study guide costs $30. You may email firstname.lastname@example.org, with your mailing/shipping address, and request a study guide. You will be invoiced and once you pay by credit/debit card, a guide will be mailed to you. You can also mail a written request for the study guide with a check or money order for $30, and we will mail you a study guide.
The Board is now offering the licensing exam six times a year at locations across North Carolina. Please review the exam schedule and contact the Board’s Director, email@example.com, to schedule your appointment to the exam administration below.
Note: Only approved applications will be allowed to be seated for the examination. You submit application first, then you are scheduled to take the exam.
