Proposed Rule Amendment

The NC Locksmith Licensing Board has proposed an amendment to 21 NCAC 29 .0802. The proposed amendment can be found here.

A fiscal note is required for this proposed amendment.

The public is invited to submit comment on the proposed amendment to 21 NCAC .0802 to revise continuing education requirements for licensees.

A 60 day comment period is now in effect until October 2, 2026.

Comments may be submitted by email or mail any time during the public comment period, or they may be submitted in person at the public hearing.

Procedure for subjecting a proposed rule to legislative review

If an objection to a proposed rule is not resolved prior to the adoption of the rule, a person may submit written objections (via mail, delivery service, hand delivery, or email) to the Rules Review Commission requesting review by the legislature in accordance with G.S. 150B-21.3(b2)
